Guy Ferguson kirjoitti:The 2030 is the narrowest and is a single E width.
The 2045 is about a double E and has a munson style shape.
The 110 is the widest of the three and the roundest.
1035 last is the round toe version of the 2030
Guy Ferguson kirjoitti:As for the sizing thing, no last is going to be the perfect last for everyone. I have a regular width foot (no problem with buying shoes "off the rack") and the 2030 is fine for me. Andrew from 3sixteen has a relatively wide foot if i remember correctly and wears the 2030 daily with no issues. I sold over 100 pairs of the 4H Service Boot all on the 2030 and less than half a dozen people reported having any serious issues with the width. Keep in mind the 4H boot is made with one of our particularly unforgiving work boot leathers (cordovan would have the same stiffness issue). The same boot in CXL for example would be much easier to wear for a variety of foot shapes. We only have one version of the 2030 and it's an E width as marked by the last manufacturers. I also have a pair of boots on the 110 last and find them really comfortable and overall a more casual looking shoe. The issue with the 110 is that it doesn't have much shape through the waist. The 2040 and the 2045 have more of a Munson shape to them and are a little nicer than the 110 in that regard. They both also have considerably more depth in the toebox than the 2030 which is the real issue most people have with wearing it. I know i promised a size guide a while back but it will be coming soon. I think seeing good pictures of the lasts (particularly the base plates) will give everyone a better idea of what's what. We're also working on a couple of new shapes that are still in development.
Guy Ferguson kirjoitti:As for the 2040, think of it as basically a Munson version of the 2030. It's still narrow in the waist, with a low heel, but it has that distinct Munson shape and a slight bump in the toe. For anyone who has tried on the 2030 and felt like the toe is just too constricting, this last will likely be the answer for you. Alternately, if you've seen or tried on the 2045 last, the 2040 is narrower and a bit less extreme in the toe. The 2040 is essentially a middle point between the 2030 and the 2045. It's a great last and is going to fit a ton of people really well. The next pair of boots i own will 100% be on it.
